HOW TO APPLY FOR KHATA?
Follow the below – mentioned steps to apply for Khata of your property. Before applying for the Khata, it is vital to acquire an attested sale deed and Encumbrance Certificate (EC) from the sub-registrar office.
Step 1. You can first download the application form from the BBMP website. You can also get the application form from the nearest BBMP office.
Step 2. Fill all the related information on the application form and enclose the title deed (attested/notarized), property allotment documents, Old tax receipts, Possession certificate, Encumbrance Certificate (EC), and a drawing of the property with location and boundaries.
Step 3. Submit the form. It nearly takes five weeks for you to receive the document.
